Founded in 2009 and based in Michigan USA, Algal Scientific Corporation (“ASC”) has developed an innovative technology that produces a natural beta glucan compound, a well-known prebiotic that can enhance the immune system of human beings, animals and potentially plants. The Company developed a 25 tons per month fermentation process using a non-GMO Euglena gracilis algal strain to produce high purity beta-1,3-glucan at a significantly lower cost than beta glucan produced by the conventional purified yeast process.
